Purpose of this consultation
Ben Bailey Homes and Russell Homes are currently in the process of preparing the submission of an outline planning application for the residential development of the site that has become known as Wincham Urban Village. They are assisted by a team of consultants who are providing expert advice on planning, design, highways and environmental issues.
The concept of the village has been promoted since 2003. A restriction on new housing development delayed progress until September 2008. With the listing of this restriction, the development can now move forward and the development consortium are working closely with Cheshire West and Chester Council to deliver the regeneration of this site.
Following the well-attended public consultation event at Wincham Hall Hotel on 25th March 2010, this website has been created to allow you to view the proposals at your convenience. We are keen to hear your views on the emerging design concept for this important site.
